It works for several government bodies on an extremely wide range of issues, from toys to narcotics, from verifying the accuracy of claims to food safety, as well as checking geographical origins and the naturalness of ingredients.
Its scope of expertise covers 29 scientific fields and includes handling samples collected by inspection authorities, both for high-volume routine analyses (for example, pesticide residues in imported fruit and vegetables) and for in-depth expert investigations on specific topics (for example, the structural elucidation of new psychoactive substances using NMR and high-resolution mass spectrometry).
