Forum LABO Paris 2027

Forum LABO
commits

Forum LABO brings together laboratory professionals around the innovations, expertise, and solutions that drive research, analysis, quality control, and production forward. Because a trade show uses resources, generates travel, and produces waste, we want to make Forum LABO part of a more responsible, progressive, and practical approach. The goal is to reduce the event’s impact, encourage best practices, and engage all participants in a collective momentum.

An event designed with restraint

We are working to limit unnecessary consumption and prioritize more sustainable solutions in the organization of the trade show: reducing paper printing, using digital materials where relevant, optimizing signage, choosing reusable solutions, and limiting single-use items. Exhibitors are also encouraged to design more streamlined stands, prioritize reuse, rent furniture, use recyclable or reusable materials, and limit non-essential promotional materials.

Less waste, more sorting

Waste reduction is a key part of our approach. Forum LABO encourages limiting packaging, printed materials, and disposable items. On site, sorting facilities are provided to make it easier to adopt the right habits and improve the recovery of waste generated during the event. We invite everyone—exhibitors, visitors, partners, and service providers—to anticipate their needs, avoid waste, and favor reusable solutions.

More responsible mobility

Travel represents a significant share of an event’s impact. Forum LABO therefore encourages participants to choose, whenever possible, the lowest-emission modes of transport: public transportation, train, carpooling, or soft mobility options. The event’s practical information is designed to make access to the venue easier and to help visitors choose more responsible travel solutions.

An event open to everyone

Forum LABO is committed to offering an event that is welcoming and accessible to as many people as possible. The organization of the trade show takes into account the reception of people with disabilities, the clarity of visitor routes, and access to essential information. We want every participant to enjoy a smooth, useful, and comfortable experience at the trade show.

A shared responsibility

A successful responsible approach depends on everyone’s involvement. Organizers, exhibitors, visitors, partners, and service providers each have a role to play. By adopting simple actions — limiting printing, sorting waste, choosing sustainable materials, and optimizing travel — everyone helps make Forum LABO a more responsible event, without losing what makes it strong: connection, exchange, and innovation in support of the laboratory sector.
