This conference offers a practical and structured approach to the metrological monitoring of centrifuges, from needs analysis through to the declaration of conformity.
Our speaker will begin by identifying the metrological need: which parameter should be measured or monitored, and for what purpose? Temperature, time, speed? We will then look at how to define appropriate specifications, in particular the maximum permissible errors (MPE), and how to choose and implement a relevant calibration or verification method.
The conference will also present the principles for declaring equipment compliant with the applicable requirements. Finally, we will broaden the discussion to cover monitoring the overall process and best practices for using centrifuges, in order to connect metrology with actual use.
